Agri and food processing
Software for Agriculture and Food Processors, built around your floor
Production data is scattered across equipment, lab results and spreadsheets, and traceability only gets assembled when an auditor or a recall demands it.
Where it hurts
If more than two of these are true, there is a project here
We hear these from plant managers, quality managers and operations directors more than anything else.
- Each machine holds its own data and nobody joins it up
- Lot traceability is reconstructed from paper when it is needed
- Quality checks are recorded on a clipboard at the line
- Yield is calculated at month end, too late to change anything
- Audit preparation takes a week of assembling records by hand
What we build
The pieces that usually matter first
Lot and batch traceability
Input to output, queryable in seconds rather than days
Quality check capture
Checks recorded at the line with photos and limits enforced
Equipment data capture
Readings pulled from machines instead of transcribed
Yield and waste dashboards
Per batch, per line, visible the same shift
Compliance reporting
Audit packs generated from the records you already keep
ERP and lab integration
Production, lab results and stock in one chain
Systems we connect
None of this works in isolation
Whatever we build has to agree with the systems that already hold your numbers.
How we start
Small, and in production
One line or one product family, four to six weeks, usually starting with traceability because it is the one that carries real risk.
FAQ
Common questions
Our equipment is old and not connected. Can you still get data from it?
Often, yes, but it is the part to check first. Some machines expose a serial or OPC interface, some produce a file, and some genuinely produce nothing, in which case a fast manual capture at the line is the honest answer. We establish this before quoting, because it is the difference between a four-week and a twelve-week project.
How quickly can we trace a lot after this?
The goal is seconds, from a batch code to every input and every output. Getting there depends on capturing the links at the moment of production rather than reconstructing them, which is why the floor capture matters more than the reporting.
Does this replace our food safety system?
No. It feeds it. The records become structured and searchable, so your existing HACCP or quality process stops depending on paper being filed correctly.
What does a project like this cost?
It depends on scope and we quote it line by line after a call, never before. We run two delivery tracks: a blended squad at roughly $24 to $45 per hour for straightforward builds, and a senior-only pod at roughly $75 to $120 per hour where architecture, security review and a compressed timeline matter. Most first projects here land in the four to six week range.

- Manufacturing operationsOperators log production on paper, and somebody types it in the next morning
- Logistics and fleet operationsLoads are assigned by phone call and remembered, not recorded
- Field service operationsScheduling is a shared calendar and a lot of phone calls
- Healthcare operationsPatient intake is a clipboard, then re-typed into the system
- Retail operationsStore tasks go out by email or group chat with no way to see completion
